Morning at the Iron House is a time to unwind and enjoy great food and drink in light, modern surroundings.
From 8.30am to 11.30am, we offer freshly cooked breakfast for every taste and appetite, from light continental through to full English, as well as a full range of coffees and speciality teas.
Newspapers are always available, and you can use our free wi-fi to browse your favourite sites or check your email.
Take time out before the working day begins to join us for a few minutes, and reach your desk feeling refreshed and relaxed. Or pop in mid-morning for a drink and a snack to watch the world go by.
If work won’t wait, why not meet your colleagues here? Our space is quiet enough for an informal meeting, and you’re welcome to book our Corner Room or Low Room for your gathering free of charge.
Come along to the Iron House in the afternoon for refreshment, conversation or just a quiet moment alone.
Located right in the centre of Norwich, we’re perfectly placed for meeting friends, informal work meetings or a break from shopping.
If you appreciate the craft and ceremony of making ‘proper’ tea (as we do), check out our range of refreshing loose-leaf teas, served in individual pots for the perfect brew.
Our delectable cakes and pastries are all baked on the premises, with the selection changing daily. They include irresistible favourites like carrot cake, shortbreads and flapjacks, or something different like malted milk muffin, gluten-free chocolate cake, lemon and poppy-seed cake or glazed blueberry and raspberry muffin.
Evening at the Iron House means good company, superb food and fine wines in a beautiful contemporary setting.
With its central location, The Iron House is perfect for eating before the theatre or cinema. We are within ten minutes’ walk of Theatre Royal, Maddermarket Theatre, Norwich Arts Centre, Cinema City and Norwich Playhouse, and just 200m from St Andrew’s multi-storey car park.
We aim to offer an evening dining experience that is relaxed, welcoming and above all enjoyable. Call us on 01603 763388 to book or just call in any time from afternoon to 9pm and we’ll be happy to serve you with drinks, a light meal or a full three-course dinner.
If you’re ordering à la carte, you can choose from much-loved classics like succulent fillet steak, tender slow-cooked belly pork and delicate grilled sole. Or try something a little different – tasty smoked haddock risotto, or our wonderful vegetable pithivier. All plates come with vegetables of the season or salad.
Afterwards, choose a delicious dessert such as flourless chocolate tart, apple crumble, white chocolate cheesecake or our scrumptious cheeseboard.
To accompany your meal, choose from our list of red, white, rosé and sparkling wines from Europe and the New World, all available by the glass, as well as bottled beers, traditional soft drinks, fruit juices and pressés.
